2023 MTG Worlds Cosplay Contest Sword of Fire and Ice Trophy

Made for Wizard of the Coast, the client wanted a unique, unconventional trophy for their cosplay contest based on a prop from the MtG universe. Volpin Props brought on Nick Fair, our 2D artist, to come up with an original design of the iconic card art, with the idea the piece can removed from the stand and used as a cosplay weapon. The finished sword features an antiqued brass handle with leather inserts, hand cast gem accents, and 2 light up blades.
